The minister honored Dr. Norman Borlaug’s role in the Green Revolution, while Dr. Sajid highlighted CIMMYT’s impact—nearly 70 improved wheat varieties released in the past decade, with CIMMYT-origin varieties now covering 90% of Pakistan’s wheat area and feeding over 250 million people.
