Scientist - Adoption, Scaling and Innovation Systems

Dr. Aravindakshan is the Scientist of adoption, Scaling, and Innovation Systems in the Sustainable Agrifood Systems program at CIMMYT. He contributes to the Transforming Agri-Food Systems in South Asia (TAFSSA) initiative by focusing on Adoption, Scaling, and Innovation Systems.

He is an interdisciplinary Natural Resource Economist with over two decades of experience in climate change & socio-ecological systems. He holds a Ph.D. from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, as well as an MSc degree from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, & TU Dresden, Germany. Aravindakshan has worked with governments and NGOs in South Asia, the Middle East, & Europe. He has collaborated with FAO, JICA, & WWF, in multi-country projects funded by EU, USAID, & the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
