Tania Alejandra Casaya RodrĂguez has been a Hub Manager at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) since 2013. She leads a team to promote network innovation processes and facilitate the local actor’s interaction in research, validation, technical assistance and knowledge capacity building with farmers, based in the central region of Mexico called “Valles Altos”.
Casaya RodrĂguez is an agronomist from EARTH University in Costa Rica and holds an MSc in Animal Production from Universidad AutĂłnoma de MĂ©xico (UNAM). She is currently studding a PhD in Agribusiness at the University of Chapingo. Her research focuses on grain-based systems in Mexico and the innovation scaling analysis.
She has experience working with NGOs in México and Nicaragua, with projects on food security and extensionism.
