Avinash Chandra Pandey is a Station Coordinator working with CIMMYT’s Integrated Development program.
He has worked in agricultural research for development in India. At CIMMYT-BISA, he leads a research team focused on the principles of conservation agriculture to smallholder farming systems in eastern Indo-Gangatic Plains. This team brings together technical skills ranging from crop improvement, systems agronomy, socioeconomics, and data science. The team’s research agenda is aimed at generating real-world impact by addressing key knowledge gaps and developing practical tools and supportive systems to raise farmers’ productivity and resilience in the region’s conventional agriculture, socio-economic, and sociocultural diversity context.
Avinash has published more than 6 peer-reviewed papers/ book chapter.
