BACKGROUND INFORMATION
RustMapper integrates near real-time information relating to stem rust race Ug99 (or derivatives)
using Google Earth for visualization.
Interface

Key Points
- After loading the RustMapper KML file and saving it into “My Places” in Google Earth,
all RustMapper data layers are available and automatically updated anytime Google Earth is opened.
- Any data layer can be switched on or off.
- Any feature in the legend has pop-up information attached to it – simply click on the icon on the map to display.
- Image data layers (e.g., wheat production or rainfall) can be made transparent.
Click on the data layer name in “Places” then use the slider bar.
