Welcome to the
CIMMYT Library
We are pleased to offer a range of
Library services to external users and visitors. However the
prime responsibility of CIMMYT’s Library is to provide
information services to CIMMYT staff, and other researchers
or trainees who participate in collaborative projects with
the Center.
The access to electronic services as such
as journal subscriptions and some databases are restricted
to CIMMYT staff.
Hours
The CIMMYT Library is open to the general
public 9 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
For security reasons, we ask users to register
at the Library Reception Desk and show valid identification,
to have access to the library's book and journal collections.
Collections
The library's bibliographic collection of
43,800 titles includes monographs, journals, annual reports,
theses, reprints, staff publications, CIMMYT publications,
microfiches, videocassettes, maps and CD ROM databases.
Document Delivery
Service
Institutions with which the Library has
an interlibrary loan agreement have the right to loan books,
documents, and other bibliographic materials, held in our
Collection for one week. We do not loan directly to individuals.
Photocopy Service
Photocopy service is available. The user
should fill out a form at the reception desk to take the material
to the Xerox office. Cost per page is $.50 cents.
