CIMMYT’s
research agenda is focused on developing and delivering
with our partners a set of flagship products that will have
impact in communities that depend on maize- or wheat-based
farming systems for their livelihoods. Nearly all represent
genetically enhanced, seed-embedded technologies. That is
the seed itself carries the bulk of the technology. They are
being developed by multidisciplinary teams charged with the
generation of products reflecting integrated solutions for
our target beneficiaries. There are nine products in the portfolio.
